This is a story of a dysfunctional British Indian family set against a backdrop of changing multicultural Britain. As Brexit takes grip and fear against immigrants rises, an imported Indian bride, Simmy (Rameet Rauli), discovers her British Asian husband, Raj (Simon Rivers), has run away on their wedding night. Produced through Slough-based Resource Productions CIC, a not-for-profit social enterprise, the film formed part of a wider ‘Kickstart Into Film’ project.
